While the summer is still in full swing, and they is still much more of it to enjoy, there are vegetables ready and waiting to be harvested! On July 26th at 9:30 a.m. Rye’s HomeGrown will be having its second harvest of the season. During this time, we hope to harvest the red and green lettuces, the Red Russian Kale, the Pak Choi, and zucchinis. Part of this produce will be donated to Ryerson’s Community Food Room, a place on campus that provides food to those who need it, and part of the bounty will be shared with participants.
